Demetrius L. Baldwin
Candidate for Magisterial District Judge
Demetrius L. Baldwin is a strong advocate for his community, who has been equipped by his education, life experiences, and professional career. Earning a bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Bucknell University, where he was also an All-American football player and the 2014 George Rieu Award winner. He then returned to his high school, The Linsly School, a private boarding institution in West Virginia, where he served as a substitute teacher and championship-winning coach. During his teaching career, he advocated for marginalized student populations and also effectively worked with staff and administration to provide more equity in the classroom. Demetrius has been service-minded and has worked across the education, mental health, and non-profit sectors of society with a commitment to always fight for the vulnerable.
A native of the Mon Valley, Demetrius has returned to advocate and fight for his community; prepared to serve by the personal qualities of hard work, courage, integrity, honesty, and respect which he espouses and which undergird his tireless spirit of advocacy.
