As a Magistrate Judge, Demetrius, a native of
the Mon Valley, will use the opportunity
to serve and effect positive change impacting people’s lives. He has observed the manner in which the system has failed his friends, neighbors, and the community-at-large. Magistrates preside in the community-based judicial system and with this in mind, Demetrius sees it as a duty to provide the community with a version of justice that is not only fair and impartial but which recognizes the unique humanity of every citizen.
